The Dharma Yoga Wheel is the world’s first yoga wheel. Invented by Dov Vargas and Raquel Vamos in the summer of 2014 in New York City, the wheel was originally created for the personal use of its creators. Little did Dov and Raquel know at the time of its invention that the wheel would soon revolutionize the yoga industry. Now, in the hands of athletes, celebrities and everyday people from all over the world, the Dharma Yoga Wheel has proved itself to be an irreplaceable element in the yoga world.
Specifically designed to help stretch and release tension and muscular tightness in the back, chest, shoulders, abdomen and hip flexors, the Dharma Yoga Wheel helps aide in the progression of all body movements. The founders have ingeniously formulated a series of 108 poses to practice on and with the wheel.
Dov Vargas, also known as, Yogi Varuna, has been practicing and teaching Dharma yoga for the past seven years. He has achieved his 200, 500, and 800-hour teacher trainings from the Master, Sri Dharma Mittra. Dov was initiated by Swami Kalishananda as a child, and is the successor and heir to the Dharma Yoga Lineage. He teaches yoga in New York City at the Dharma Yoga Center and at Yoga to the People. Leading teacher trainings across the globe, Dov spreads his spiritual knowledge to countless souls. Dov’s mission in life is to share the Dharma lineage with the world.
Raquel Vamos, known also by the name, Leela Om, has been practicing and teaching Dharma yoga for the past seven years. She has studied under the Master, Sri Dharma Mittra, from whom she has achieved her 200, 500 and 800-hour teacher trainings. Raquel currently owns and operates a yoga studio in Long Island, New York. She also teaches yoga workshops all around the world and runs teacher trainings multiple times a year. Raquel’s main goal in life is to share what she has learned with as many souls as possible. Her wish is to help guide as many individuals to the path of Self-realization and liberation and to make yoga accessible to all beings everywhere.
